The San Clemente Parks Foundation linked up with local golfers who paid up to $150 each Friday to play in a tournament to benefit San Clemente’s new sports park and other city park projects.

The foundation’s inaugural tournament at San Clemente Municipal Golf Course offered prizes at several holes for closest to the pin, longest drive and “beat the pro.” There also were a putting contest, drinks, snacks, dinner and awards.
