If you have a tendency, like me, to push the ball right off the tee, this is a great drill to straighten you out:

Tee up a ball at least 6 inches outside your forward foot. (For visual purposes, the pictures show my normal tee position and the one I use for this drill.)

Set up with your driver as if the ball was in your normal position, which, for me, is in front of my left big toe.

Take a normal swing but with an emphasis on extending through the impact zone toward the target or you’ll miss or shank the ball.

Continue your follow through to a finished and balance position.

Putting the ball that far forward forces you to extend and turn your hands over in addition to keeping your head still longer than if your ball was in its typical spot. I like to practice this a few times on the range before I tee off to give me the sensation of extension and staying committed to the shot.
