Putting is one of the first things to wilt under pressure, and missing 3-footers can be both frustrating and confidence shakers. The best way to make more of those putts is to practice game-like scenarios so you can handle the situations more confidently during a round.

This drill will help you make more 3-footers and keep you dialed in on putts from up to 15 feet as well.

Take three tees or markers and place them 3, 6, and 9 feet from the hole.

Stroke a ball from each marker and, if you miss one, start the process again.

Once you’ve mastered those intervals, move the markers to 5, 10 and 15 feet and test your rolls – and patience – from those distances.

This drill really elevated my putting to the next level. I’m sure it will do the same for you.
