A 2-for-1 special for daily tickets and weekly badges has been established for people wanting to attend the newly named CareerBuilder Challenge Jan. 21-24 at PGA West in La Quinta. The limited-time deal allows fans to purchase two daily tickets for $40 or two full-week badges for $100.

The 2016 tournament, formerly known as the Humana Challenge, will be played on the TPC Stadium Course and the Jack Nicklaus Tournament Course at PGA West and La Quinta Country Club.

“This is a wonderful opportunity for our loyal golf fans in the Coachella Valley and western Riverside County to get a jump on ordering their tickets,” said tournament director Bill Tait. “With CareerBuilder on board as our new title sponsor, and with all of the new amenities we have planned for our loyal fans and supporters, this is a great time to plan ahead.”

Bill Haas is the defending champion, having birdied the 71st hole to break a six-man logjam and pull out a one-shot victory. It was Haas’ sixth career PGA Tour title and second victory in the desert.

The CareerBuilder Challenge offers tournament week pro-am spots and hospitality packages with special rates available to businesses and individuals for a limited time. Fans can also purchase tickets for Club 17, a sports-bar atmosphere experience overlooking the Stadium Course’s par-3 17th hole – nicknamed Alcatraz for its island green.
